Our Story

Hello! I am a Florida high school student, competitive swimmer, and certified lifeguard. Spending my life on the water has given me a deep love for it, and I have learned that swimming is both a crucial life skill and a gateway to amazing opportunities.

While working on a research project about water safety, I became interested in how swim lessons are provided across different communities. I noticed that local voucher programs are a great start, but they are often limited to just two vouchers per child and can vary in eligibility. This can create gaps before kids are able to build confidence in the water.

Driven by my faith and a belief in our responsibility to look out for one another, I founded The Anchor Swim Initiative. We raise funds to cover the cost of swim lessons for local families at municipal aquatic facilities and certified programs throughout Palm Beach County. We also fund opportunities for parents to take lessons when needed, so families can learn together. 

My goal is simple: to help more local families access swim lessons and build confidence in and around the water.
